A quarter century of SUCKING!

So, I'm gonna be honest... I didn't realize this was happening until this very morning. I woke up knowing it was April Fool's Day, and thought "Oh yeah, it's CreatureCantina's anniversary then. I should post something." Then it dawned on me that this is actually CreatureCantina's TWENTY-FIFTH anniversary! So I was like "Oh shit I should post something!"

So with zero planning, here we go! Here's me celebrating CreatureCantina.com's 25th anniversary:

Looking just slightly older than I looked 25-ish years ago...

But it's not the years, it's the mileage. And man have I been through a lot in 25 years. Harassment. Threatened lawsuits. Banned from RebelScum. But there were good times as well. A particular highlight (that comes to mind right now as I write this stream-of-thought with zero preparation) was our first invitation to Hasbro's New York Toy Fair-adjacent press event in 2008. This was something we received totally out of the blue - never even asked to go! But CreatureCantina was such a power house among Star Wars collecting websites they couldn't not ask us to grace them with our presence. We were officially big-time! And we've gone back pretty much every year since. And I'll be honest, one of the main reasons I continue to keep this site alive is for legitimacy so I can continue travelling to NY Toy Fair year after year...

CreatureCantina.com has given me back at least as much as it's taken out of me, so in the end it was a worthwhile endeavor to launch. I'm happy to half-assedly celebrate this monumental milestone. So to close, I'd like to thank all you readers who stuck with us through the years and made this place a success. All six of you! And a special thank-you to the dozens of folks who will click "Like" on the FB post I share multiple places without actually clicking on the link to read this.
