Time to embrace the season of giving!

As the year's end quickly approaches and Christmas is upon us, we should all remember this is a time of giving. In that light, everyone reading this should ask themselves "What can I give to Bill Cable? What could the Star Wars collector who already has everything C-3PO possibly want?" Well, in the spirit of charity, I'll help you out on that!

Let's start with the easy ones. Toltoys 12-Back 3PO. Poch 3PO. Clipper 12-Back 3PO. Meccano 12-Back 3PO. Any of those would be awesome.

But perhaps more realistic would be to give the gift of future Droids Customs! As it stands right now, I need the following:

• 5 Dengars (pink face only!)
• 5 Nein Nunbs
• 5 8D8s
• 3 Death Star Droids (bad chrome)
• 8 Klaatu Skiffs

Very nice shape. Complete with weapons where appropriate. No repro! Send those and not only are you embracing the Christmas spirit, you're supporting the arts! It'd be like donating to your favorite museum or something. It'll totally make you feel your Ho Ho Hos.

All joking aside, it dawns on me as I fight to come up with content for an update how things have changed. My very first website, SWDrawings.com (prime domain still available!) was created so I could advertise my art to the world and sell it. That site evolved into CreatureCantina.com, a satirical collecting news site where I could post jokes and comic strips and tangentially advertise my art to the world and sell it. That site has evolved over the past 24 years almost exclusively into a site where I advertise my art to the world and sell it, occasionally taking a break from that to cover Toy Fair NYC. I've pretty much completely circled back. It's like poetry sort of... they rhyme!
