Death of a GPA

Howdy all, Nimrod here with a short
film for the independent film lover in all of us. SO the ol’
Nimrod thinks he is a bit of a filmmaker... well, not really
BUT I have made 3 short films and been featured in 3 other peoples
short films.
That said, let me get on with the business
at hand: CreatureCantina.com is going to start a new feature
and every month will feature a new Nimrod film. The ones I direct
are under my real name of R.W. Mallardi, the ones that I star
in have me billed as your favorite loud mouth, Ric Nimrod.
So let me introduce this months film.
This film is called THE DEATH OF A G.P.A. and was done as a student
film. (one I got an A on... thank you very much) I wrote and
directed the film and it stars an actor I worked named Xaq Christian.
Xaq is a damn fine actor whom I met when we where both cast in
a play called "Marie and Bruce" in the fall of 2000.
GPA is my favorite film that I have produced. I like the shots
and I am generally happy with the results. I hope it translates
well into QuickTime. (tho I am sure it will be chop, chop, choppy...I
am sure you will get the point)
ALSO in the film are several Star Wars
references so look for and see if you can pick them all out.
GPA is based on a TRUE story, that's right...
this film actually happened to ME! Of course it has been over
dramatized a bit, but it really did happen. But enuff of the
Nimrod's rambling, here is the first installment in CC newest
feature:
