Posted by: Ric Nimrod 7-10-02 12:01am Ol' nimmy here for another top 10 list in my TOP 10 top 10 lists (what a way to get outta really writing columns for the summer) this is the forth list and I call it 10 things I would change in the Star Wars Saga: or Listen up Lucas... here are your very special editions 10- The Giant Mat Lines in the Racor Pit in ROJ: My god... how in the hell did ILM do a special edition in 1997 and NOT get this fixed. It just looks LAZY! 9- The black spots on Palpys face in ROJ (Emperors slugs) : as lazy as #10 was this one is even worse. Holy mackerel... I think I could do better on PhotoShop. I thought these guys won Oscars for this stuff. 8- Luke on Taun Taun: long shot ESB: I hope I dont get hammered by you guys for this and I agree it is a cool effect and charming BUT that long shot of the Taun Taun is a little beat looking and it could be CGIed in there so much better. A CGI shot here ties the OG3 FX with the Prequels FX Far better than that Jabba and Han scene. 7- Anakins wet dream in AOTC: WOW, this is just BAD and perverted looking. cut this scene ASAP! 6- Add all the Biggs/Ancorhead scenes in ANH: WE ALL WANT TO SEE THEM - they are legend! 5- Add Emperor to ANH : ANH should still get the most attentions as it need the most help fitting in with the continuity (story and FX), A senate scene could be nice in ANH. AND WHILE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE EMPEROR... 4- Make Ian the HoloGram in ESB instead if the monkey-eyes old lady! - I mean the man is playing that SAME character through like 40-50 years of his life... I would be nice for Ian and the fans and it BRINGS CONTINUITY! 3- Add the Imperial March into ANH: I know that the music MOST associated with Vader was not yet written in 1977, but NOW it should be inserted at least once or twice into this film... you know, for continuity. 2- Re-do TPM - BBBWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just kidding :) but it could use a re-edit including adding the deleted scene where Qui chops the probe droid and tell Anni to run, it explains why the little bastard s running for no reason in the next scene. 1- GREEDO DOES NOT SHOOT FIRST - need I say more nimrod
