Baldy's Meet & Greet!

Meet and Greet presents yet another wonderful look at a fellow collector who might not be on the regular radar. This gentleman has been around for years and has quite the collection going but most of you probably have no idea who he is. Mainly because he collects earwax and toenails. BUT he likes Star Wars too so say hello to Jjax!

Baldy: What's your name?
JJ: Jay Sant Juan JJax JoeyS Santwan, Jr III

Baldy: How long have you been collecting?
JJ: As of this date, July 11th 2004: 13 years, 7 months, 11 days, 6 hours. Give or take 30 seconds.

Baldy: What/who got you started?
JJ: Getting the 1987 box set Trilogy for Xmas in 90, then a trip to the local swapmeet to look for a vintage falcon, then 2 years hanging with a dealer building a collection.

Baldy: Can you quit anytime soon?
JJ: Of course, I could die anytime.

Baldy: Do you have a focus and if so what is it?
JJ: The Illustriously Cool Emperor's Royal Guards. The few, the red, the silent.

Baldy: Why do you like umbrellas so much?
JJ: I'm from Tacoma, near Seattle, they make great weapons against Mariner fans that we tease.

Baldy: There is a rumor floating around that ever since DragonCon 2003, you have an addiction to a substance called "F.A.N.B." Can you elaborate?
JJ: I have no knowledge of this thing you describe.....not its lulling sounds, the compact size, nor the sudden appearance in the middle of the night. Sorry, what was the question?

Baldy: Who is your nemesis and why?
JJ: I have many. Frauds, blowhards, liars, fakes, thesaurus users. Mainly a certain case-fresh dickwad :)

Baldy: When are you going to take a shower?
JJ: It's Washington, what's the point?

Baldy: What would be your dream car and why?
JJ: A 1959 red and white Corvette convertible. Pure cool, and a total Pussy Wagon.

Baldy: Which coast is better?
JJ: Hell if I know, I've never been to either one. But I hear the east coast blows, so I'll have to run with that theory......actually I hear you can get a better pizza out east, so I think it's better, yeah. Ok, no. Maybe west, I think there's better weather. But that pizza thing, that's a big'un. Could get a good one in Chicago though. West is closer though, driving distance. Ever been to the San Juans? It's just off the coast, nice boating.

Baldy: Any Star Wars item that you want but can't find?
JJ: An Adam Joseph Vader and Royal Guard bike flag....and umbrella........WHAT?!

Baldy: Do you collect anything else besides Star Wars?
JJ: Dust, and movie props/costumes. I have a full suit from the movie Undercover Brother. It's a nice pimp outfit if I do say so myself.

Baldy: Do you have Prince Albert in a can?
JJ: When he becomes a prince, I will.

Baldy: What's your favorite TV show of all time and why?
JJ: Night Court, funniest show there ever was. And Markie Post is BUILT.

Baldy: Is there really an Easter Bunny?
JJ: Hell no, I retired years ago. Smarmy little bastards always find the damn eggs, what they don't know is that they were NEVER supposed to be found. That, and those aren't really eggs, hee hee.
