EEN-EmpireEthernetNews, - Feb-2nd 2004 - After singer Oola Jackson's breast was exposed on national holovision during the Galactic Gear-Bowl XXXVIII halftime show, the unhappy GGL announced it was "unlikely" JHV (Jabba's HoloVision Network) would ever produce another Gear-Bowl halftime. And that wasn't the half of the nudity Sunday evening at gearball's big show.

Despite security measures, an almost naked gungan also made his way onto the field just before the kickoff to start the second half.

During the halftime show, singer Joh Yowza pulled at the top of Jackson's attire, according to a GGL spokesman.

"Her breast was hanging out. She had like a little pasty on or something. We had no knowledge it was going to happen."

Is the GGL saying it was planned? "I don't know," the spokesman said.

Nevertheless, GGL executive vice president Orn Free Bra, issued a statement: "We were extremely disappointed by elements of the JHV-produced halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show."

GGL apologized for the unexpectedly R-rated end to its Gear-Bowl halftime show.

"GGL deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman Aye Vida said after the network received several calls about the show.

The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air.

Yowza said he did not intend to expose Jackson's breast.

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the 'slight wardrobe malfunction' during the halftime performance of the Gear-Bowl," Yowza said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."

Wade said GGL officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, "and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to GGL' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

The Gear-Bowl halftime show, which also featured P. GreedoP, MaiLyn, and Kid Crock, was produced by JHV, GGL's corporate cousin in EBS.

JHV issued a contrite statement, saying the incident was "unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional."

Then there was the halftime show after the halftime show. Tor-Tor Tarpals, columnist for the Outlander Tribune, said she was watching through binoculars as a streaker appeared.

"The gungan walked out and kneeled down by the ball, and he had a referee's stripes on," Tarpals said. "He pulls this thing (apparently an easily removed costume) off, and he's stripped nude, nothing but a G-string."

The gungan danced and pranced in front of the ball as members of the Coruscant Politicos waited to kick off. Then, as security guards rushed onto the field, he ran in the direction of the New Eraidu Patsies on the field. Patsise linebacker droid M-CH8M belted him, and he was swarmed by the security guards and quickly carried off the field.

The incident was not holovised.
