Can you feel the love tonight?!!!

I can't believe it!! I just can't comprehend that such heinous atrocities have been perpetrated against moi, and for no apparent reason!!So pardon me while I once again climb atop my proverbial soapbox as I relay this horrific tale guaranteed to send multiple shivers up your spine(s).

About two weeks ago I ran into one of my co-workers who works in the warehouse next to us and she announced she had just returned from her vacation to Disney World. So immediately I asked; “You were there during the first Star Wars weekend?” And she replied strongly in the affirmative. So then my follow up question was; “And you didn't pick up anything???” She said she thought about it, but didn't.

So then last Wednesday, I saw one of my friends who works with me in the drama department at my church and she stated that she and her husband and their two kids just returned from Disney and were there for the second Star Wars weekend. She took some pictures that she said she'll make copies of for me. (At least that's something!)

My question is this, why am I finding out about these trips AFTER the fact!! Nobody could find the time to e-mail, call, text, or write and say; “Hey Danno, we're going to be at Disney during SW Weekends, if you give us some money, we'll pick you up a souvenir!” Or if any free stuff was being given out (maps, fliers, brochures, I'm not fussy) think to themselves, “Hey, maybe they'll grab one for me!” but nooooooooo. It's not like I'm asking anyone to bring me something that causes them to add another carry-on bag to their luggage. As long as it's Star Wars, I don't care!!!! And considering I've never been to a SW Weekend, have nothing from them, it's not like they're going to pick up something I already have! It's like the time years back when my friend was going to Disney, asked what he could bring back for me, I said anything from “Star Tours”, as at the time I'd never been there, so he brings me back a Florida t-shirt with dolphins on it that was too small for me to wear anyway! Let's see if I remember any of them when I go to CVI. The nerve...
