And now a word from our inspiration - Gerald Home!

Wednesday I ran a C7YB comic strip featuring Squidhead in the role of Mr. Muscle, a character played by Gerald Home for British TV commercials. Gerald also played Squidhead, which is what made the comic funny (or at least was supposed to... at least Beedo got the joke). I forwarded to comic to Gerald, and he loved it. He sent me some background on Mr. Muscle, which I'd like to share. So here's a word from Mr. Home:

By the way, during the 10 years I was Mr Muscle, those commercials were shown on TV all over Europe (except for France, for some reason) and in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa! I've even been recognised as Mr M in Madrid, Spain and Melbourne, Australia!

I also made some for Central Europe where they wanted a very different image. Here's one I made in Budapest for showing in Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic and Slovakia! This is my least favourite one, but it's what they wanted:
