George Lucas to retire?

Heard Mr. Lucas wants to retire from making blockbusters once Indiana Jones 5 is in the can. Now I'm glad to hear there'll be a new Indy movie coming, (we had to wait almost 20 years from “Last Crusade” to “Crystal Skull”, so I'm not holding my breath that the previews will be hitting the theater anytime soon) but as far as retiring...C'mon George, you don't need to do that! All we ask is that you stop messing with perfection! The Star Wars Trilogies (both prequel and classic) are fine just the way they are, you don't need, nor should you feel the need to mess with 'em! Should they re-paint the Mona Lisa, re-invent the wheel, re-write the Bible??? (I'm probably going to burn in heck for comparing SW to the Holy scriptures, but considering the 2011 census preliminarily recorded 15,070 people answering the voluntary question on religion as belonging to the Jedi religion, I'm not going to be the only one.) If he wants to still play in his galaxy, make a movie based on KOTOR, The Force Unleashed, Death Troopers, or who knows what. The possibilities are endless! Just leave Episodes I-VI alone. You most certainly are NOT a horrible person, but please, please, please, stop trying to fix something that's not broken! Now putting them all in 3D should be neat, and I am most assuredly looking forward to seeing them in that format, as no doubt are many others. But what's next? A musical number headlined by Jar Jar? Padme's Lamaze classes? The Rebels conferring with a realtor as to where their next secret base should be? Vader being approached to do an ad for asthma medication? Somebody has to draw the line somewhere. Lets leave well enough alone before Episode VI starts being compared to “Leonard Part 6”, right???

16 days to go!
