more people asking you questions??

Because
I've been living it up well to my adage of this website, ASS!
But that's all about to change. I have a well stocked fridge
full of Busch, satisfaction from the Old Navy chick and a new
Van Halen album on the horizon. All is going as I have foreseen
it.

How many
times a day do you usually whack it?
Thanks,
R. Jason Coulston rjcoulston@home.com
I go
to bed around 1-2 am and give it a good whackin' so I can sleep
comfortably. The alarm sounds at 7 am on the weekdays and I give
it another good whackin' so I can sleep a few more minutes. On
the weekends I whack it on the couch while watching TV. I whack
it while sitting at the computer. I whack it in the car, it makes
everything so clearly visible.
Sometimes, if I have quests over, they
will whack it. Whackin' it makes them feel more comfortable.
When I was younger my mom had to whack it for me because I wasn't
strong enough. There have been a few times where I inadvertently
stepped on it, then, of course, I just had to whack it. I whack
it a few times per night when my girlfriend is here, though sometimes
she'll just whack it herself because I'm too tired.
I whack it when I'm mad, it helps relieve
the anger. I whack it sometimes when I'm laughing, doing so expresses
the pent up joy. I whack it when I'm sad and ask, "Why?"
I'll even whack it when I'm bored just because it's there and
I have nothing else to do.
I think I should just buy a new pillow,
this one has become rather flat.
There ain't no law against it.

Hey Scott
Is there any sites where the Bat cave layout is shown in detail
?or maybe Wayne manor? Like the blue prints for the star trek
ships?
Thanks T
Batcave?
What the hell are you talking about? This is the Star Wars geek
hangout. You need to find another geek forum that deals with
Batman and Star Trek.
I still think Batman would wipe-out any
type of "cling on".

Hey Scott,
I hear many different variations from people on the term scalper.
Some people argue over what a scalper is. How would you define
the word scalper?
--Chewbacca99

Actually,
the term "scalper" dates back to our early pioneer
days. The early white, English/European settlers of this land
mass, now the United States of America, where given a large sum
of money, $100+, for the scalps of any "red man", Indian.
Over the next 200 years the white man has let greed control his
desire and destiny. Greed for more land, absolute disregard and
disrespect for it's natural inhabitants. Greed for more power,
physical and electrical. Greed for more possessions, thou shalt
outdo thy neighbor. Greed for more money and big business, shut
out the little man and the individualism. Greed for more space,
the original inhabitants of this planet knew the value of our
Mother....Earth.
Greed for acquiring what you don't have
and what you don't need. Greed to profit for the soul purpose
of personal benefit. Greed to destroy others so one may benefit
with more money or power. Greed is the destructor of the human
race.
Have a good day!

I went
to Creature Cantina and saw the posting to please ask you some
questions, so here's one. What happens to the prototypes from
the factory (or where ever they originate) ?? Will we soon see
a shortage of past produced figures such as POTF? May be dumb
questions, but now you have some to answer, thanks. Kathy
Harris
The prototypes
have many destinations, it all depends on the type of prototype
you may be referring. Hardcopies, those that are made in-house
at Hasbro, cast from rubber molds directly from the wax sculpting
are extremely rare. A very limited number of these are made.
Approximately 5 are made for photo samples. These samples are
hand painted and used for package art and deco samples. A few
more hardcopies are cast for package production. Testing the
figure on the card, size of the bubble, placement, etc. These
hardcopies samples are all supposed to be ground to micro dust
at the end of their usage. Usually a few may hang around for
a year as samples but ultimately meet the long arm of the grinder.
On occasion one or two of these hardcopies will be liberated
into private collections, forever saving a unique part of the
development process.
If you are referring to the firstshot stage
of figures, many more of these exist than do the hardcopies.
Firstshots are very early production figures, utilizing the,
what will become, production molds. These figures are produced
to test the fit and finish of the parts. Any final changes are
made to the figure at this time. Firstshot figures are, in most
cases, cast in very vibrant and unique colors. These colors are
not chosen for any particular reason, the factory is simply using
the plastic which it has on hand at the time and casting these
figures. A firstshot figure may be red, green and black and another
sample of the exact same figure could just as easily be blue,
gray and white.
These firstshots are produced is a greater
quantity, as mentioned previously, than the hardcopies. A good
quantity of these firstshots are sent back to the Hasbro for
review by the design and engineering department. Changes would
be made, if necessary and new samples cast. It is difficult to
state a number on the quantity of these firstshots, it could
be anywhere from 10 to 50.
No matter, these firstshots are still extremely
rare and relatively few make it to the collector market. Most
of these meet the same fate of the hardcopies, the unforgiving
jaws of the history crushing grinder.
Shortage of POTF figures? I think we've
seen a shortage of those since 1986. Hindsight is always 20/20.
I wanna be back in 1987 buying POFT figs for 99cents each! Now,
if you are referring to POTF2 figures, no, we will not see any
immediate shortage of these figures.
The toy market has changed from playing
with toys to collecting toys. Millions of people have bought
POTF2 figures with the idea that they too will be worth hundreds
of dollars someday if they are kept in the original package.
Because of this, the supply will most likely always be able to
fulfill the demand, keeping the collector price down. The original
figures draw a high premium because 25 years ago few people thought
that these "plastic things" would be so cherished.
For God's sake, they are toys. Again, the supply for recent POTF2
product will fill the demand.
For Sale.
