Who better to market this product than Stratos and Buzz-Off? This here is another Scottish micro-brewed ale, this time of the Golden Summer variety. It's got elderflower and lemon zest infusions, so it's very zingy and aromatic. There has been a recent trend to return to the very-old-fashioned practice of nectar and fruit infusions in beers lately, and it has led to a surprising proliferation of different beers. You can get heather beer, thistle beer, dandelion beer, raisin beer, and clover-honey beer. You can get beer made with peach & melon blossoms, elderflowers, orange blossoms, or cherries. They're all decent, and one or two stand out as exceptional. Birds & Bees is one of the decent ones - unique enough to be an interesting new experience, but not outstanding enough to be a regular thing. The elderflower and lemon zest flavours are strong, but do not blend seamlessly with the rest of the beer. But still, it's a good brew, and worth a try.
